Tibanna gas is an extremely important resource. The gas is extracted directly from a planet's atmosphere or from the nebulae within the system. Apart from being used for construction and other productions, the gas is mainly used as fuel for our engines. The Republic held many Tibanna gas factories early on in this conflict, which is why they produce more of it per hour than the CIS.
