The mostly well-concealed and secret command buildings are used as the central hub for all military operations. The expansion significantly increases their functionality, which is reflected in the number of possible defence fleets and the availability of more advanced probes. Apart from the military operations, the trade flights are also coordinated via these buildings, which leads to more trade flights being available simultaneously if they are expanded.

Neben den militärischen Operationen werden auch die Handelsflüge darüber koordiniert, was bei einem Ausbau zu mehreren gleichzeitig möglichen Handelsflügen führt.
