In the midst of the first Battle of the Clone Wars, the modified Trade Guild cruisers, known as the Diamond-class cruisers, were deployed. Equipped with only 2 laser cannons, they are primarily intended for defensive tasks. Their great advantage lies in their large numbers already present in the Trade Guild and other cargo associations, which can be quickly modified.
