The Acclamator-class cruiser, produced during the Clone Wars as an assault transport for the Republic, was later transferred to the service of the Galactic Empire. Equipped with twelve quad turbolaser turrets, twenty-four light point-defense laser cannons, and four heavy missile/torpedo launchers, it serves as the ideal light escort vessel. Thanks to its simple systems and relatively small size, it is also quite inexpensive to produce.
