The Nantex-class starfighter, also known as the Geonosian starfighter, is capable of both space and planetary atmospheric operations. Its laser cannon mounted in the centre section can be fired in a 360-degree angle. 100 small tractor beam projectors distributed throughout the ship are used for more precise target acquirement and space superiority in short-range combat. To protect against enemy non-energy weapon systems such as missiles and torpedoes, many fighters have an internal gravity generator to deflect the projectiles.

Seine in der Mittelsektion angebrachte Laserkanone kann in einem 360 Grad Kreis abgefeuert werden. 100, über das komplette Schiff verteilte, Small-Traktor-Beam Projektoren werden zur genaueren Zielerfassung und der Raumüberlegenheit in Kurzdistanzkämpfen eingesetzt. Um gegen feindliche nichtenergetische Waffensysteme, wie Raketen und Torpedos, geschützt zu sein, haben viele Raumjäger einen internen Gravitationsgenerator eingebaut, welcher die Geschosse ablenkt.
