The Munificent-class frigate was officially deployed for the first time during the campaign on Christophsis. Usually operating in a formation of several Munificient-class ships, this vessel can be a threat to any Republic capital ship, despite its light armour and a relatively weak deflector shield, due to its immense number of weapon systems. Equipped with 2 heavy turbolaser cannons, 2 heavy ion cannons, 40 retractable twin light turbolaser turrets and 12 medium flak-cannons, it is also capable of effectively engaging fighters, bombers and even torpedoes/missiles launched from capital ships.
